Police have charged a 22-year-old expatriate man with murder in the death of a 58-year-old taxi-driver on June 27.
About 3.30am, the 58-year-old's vehicle hit the central railing on Connaught Road Central near Murray Road before colliding with three taxis in the opposite carriageway. The male expat passenger in his taxi then drove it in the opposite direction and hit another taxi.
The 22-year-old passenger and three taxi drivers, aged 22 to 58, were injured. The 58-year-old driver died at Queen Mary Hospital at 8.30am.
The expatriate man will appear in Eastern Magistracy tomorrow.
