Shenzhen authorities have been asked to report Hong Kong youths found abusing drugs across the boundary.

Secretary for Security Ambrose Lee said the suggestion was made during a meeting with Shenzhen Vice-Mayor and Municipal Public Security Bureau Director Li Ming this afternoon. Mr Lee said discussions on how to implement the arrangement will soon be held.

The move will help enhance co-operation between the two sides in tackling drug abuse.
