Man charged for gun possession

*
Hong Kong Police

A 26-year-old man will appear in Kowloon City Magistracy tomorrow to face a charge of unlicensed firearm possession.

He was arrested along with three others yesterday after Police identified them aboard a taxi in Mong Kok. Officers gave chase but the taxi fled along Yim Po Fong Street towards Sham Shui Po and crashed into another taxi and a van before stopping on Tai Po Road. The suspects fled the taxi and Police later arrested the three men and one woman in Kowloon and in the New Territories, seizing a 7.62mm pistol and some Ketamine.

The other three suspects, aged 22 to 44, have been released on bail.
