The Chief Executive has appointed Paul Chan as Legal Aid Services Council Chairman, and Corinne Marie D'Almada Remedios, Tik Chi-yuen and Jimmy Wong as members.

Andrew Bruce, Andrew Chuang, Junius Ho, Billy Ma and Ng Shui-lai have been re-appointed as members. The term of all appointments is two years from September 1.

Mr Chan is president of the Council of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a member of severaladvisory bodies, including the Commission on Strategic Development and the Transport Advisory Committee.

Miss Corinne Marie D'Almada Remedios is a barrister and a member of the Barristers Disciplinary Tribunal Panel.

Mr Tik is the Hong Kong Society for the Aged Executive Director. He is a member of the Commission on Poverty and the Commission on Strategic Development.

Dr Wong is the Tung Chun Group President. He is a member of the Social Welfare Advisory Committee and the Advisory Committee of the Partnership Fund for the Disadvantaged.
