Police probe Kwai Chung traffic accident

Hong Kong Police

Police are seeking information on a Kwai Chung traffic accident that has left three people fighting for their lives.

 

About 10.30am a container truck broke down while New Territories-bound on Kwai Chung Road, near Container Terminal No.4. A bus rammed into the truck's rear. A van then crashed into the bus.

 

The bus driver and 16 passengers were injured. They were sent to Princess Margaret and Yan Chai Hospitals, and Caritas Medical Centre. Two men and a boy are in critical condition, while a woman is in serious condition at Princess Margaret Hospital.

 

Anyone who saw the incident should call Police on 3661 1300.
