Motorcyclist dies in Pat Heung crash

A 25-year-old motorcyclist died in an accident in Pat Heung early this morning.

 

Around 4.20am, a 24-year-old man was driving a car along Kam Ting Road towards Pat Heung, and the motorcyclist was behind him. At Ha Ko Po Tsuen, the motorcycle reportedly collided with the car.

 

The motorcyclist was sent to North District Hospital where he was certified dead at 5.08am. A 25-year-old woman who was a passenger in the car was also injured and sent to the same hospital.

 

The New Territories North special traffic investigation team is looking into the accident. Anyone who saw it is urged to contact investigating officers on 2455 4289.
