Duo charged for drug trafficking

*
Hong Kong Police

Police today charged two men aged 27 and 32 with trafficking in dangerous drugs. They will appear in Sha Tin Magistrates' Court tomorrow.

They were among the five men arrested in a Sha Tin hotel at 2pm yesterday following the seizure of 800 grams of suspected cannabis buds and 37,000 tablets of suspected ecstasy.

The marijuana could have fetched about $240,000 and the pills about $3.62 million on the market.

The remaining three men, aged between 30 and 43, have been released on bail pending further investigations.
