Minibus robbery suspect charged

Hong Kong Police

Police have charged a 36-year-old man with one count of robbery and one count of possession of firearms and ammunition without a licence.

 

He is one of the three men arrested on February 23, suspected of robbing a minibus in Tai Po on February 4.

 

A modified pistol and two bullets were later seized from a vehicle belonging to the 36-year-old.

 

He will appear in Tuen Mun Magistracy tomorrow while the other two, aged 26 and 30, have been released on $1,000 bail each and are required to report to Police on February 27.
