Police open fire in Lau Fau Shan
*
Hong Kong Police

Police are investigating after an officer opened fire on a car in Lau Fau Shan early this morning.

Just after 3 am, Marine West Division Task Force officers spotted a car near a lau Fau Shan carpark in which four men were acting suspiciously.

The officers approached the car to investigate but the car's driver did not stop. Instead, he drove towards the officers and crashed into one of the police vehicles.

An officer then fired a shot at the car.

The car then drove towards Lau Fau Shan but Police officers stopped it near the former Lau Fau Shan Police Station and arrested the men, aged 17 to 21.

The four are being detained for questioning. No one was injured during the incident.

Yuen Long's District Crime Unit is investigating.
