Body found in Hung Hom

Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in Hung Hom today.

 

At about 6.45am a passer-by reported to Police that a man was lying unconscious near Hung Hom Ferry Pier.

 

With numerous superficial wounds, he was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital but was certified dead before arrival.

 

An autopsy conducted this afternoon could not find the cause of death. Toxicological examinations will be conducted.

 

He was about 1.8 metres tall and of strong build with short hair. He was wearing a blue overcoat, white T-shirt, blue jeans and black socks but no shoes when he was found. His identity has not been established.
