9 arrested in Hung Hom homicide probe
*
Hong Kong Police

Police have arrested six men and three women aged 15 to 38 over the death of a 27-year-old man whose body was found in Hung Hom on March 8.

They were apprehended today after officers raided 19 locations in Kowloon, the New Territories and Silver Mine Bay.

Three crime scenes in Shum Shui Po where the deceased was suspected to have been assaulted have been located.

Initial enquires have found the man's death might be related to a financial dispute. The arrested are being detained for questioning.

At about 6.45am on March 8 the man was found lying unconscious near Hung Hom Ferry Pier and was certified dead before arrival at Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

He sustained various injuries to his back and legs, however, an autopsy could not find the cause of his death. Further toxicological examinations are now pending.
