*
Hong Kong Police

Police have classified the death of a two-year-old girl as murder after she was found collapsed in her Sham Shui Po home and certified dead at hospital yesterday.

The girl's parents took her to Caritas Medical Centre for treatment after they found her unconscious at their Un Chau Street home at about 2pm.

She was certified dead at the centre at about 2.30pm. There were multiple injuries on the girl's body.

Police have arrested the 33-year-old father and 27-year-old mother. They are being held for questioning.

A post-mortem will be conducted today to determine the cause of death.

The Sham Shui Po District Crime Squad is investigating.
