*

CLP Power will be allowed to install two submarine cable circuits from Ma On Shan to Pak Shek Kok to improve the electricity supply security for Sha Tin and Tai Po.

The installation works involve two 132kV submarine cable circuits about 1.3 kilometres long. Works will start in September and be completed in three months. It will affect an area of about 31.1 hectares of foreshore and seabed in Tolo Harbour.

Anyone who has an interest, right or easement in or over the foreshore and seabed involved can submit a written objection to the Director of Lands, 20th Floor, North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point, on or before July 25.

The notice together with a related plan can be seen on notice boards posted near the site. It can also be seen at the Lands Department's Survey & Mapping Office, 23rd Floor, North Point Government Offices and at the Public Enquiry Service Centre, Sha Tin District Office, Ground Floor, Sha Tin Government Offices, 1 Sheung Wo Che Road, Sha Tin.
