A 51-year-old human swine flu patient with a history of chronic obstructive airway disease has died.
He was admitted to Pok Oi Hospital for shortness of breath October 11. He became critically ill the following day and was transferred to the hospital's high-dependency unit.
He tested positive to human swine flu and was prescribed Tamiflu and antibiotics, and required ventilation support. His condition deteriorated and he died at 7.50am today.
