4 more patients ill with Norovirus symptoms

Kowloon Hopsital has confirmed four more patients aged 77 to 95 in a rehabilitation ward came down with Norovirus symptoms , bringing the total number of patients with the illness since January 23 to 13.

 

Among the two men and 11 women aged 75 to 95, seven have been found positive to Norovirus. All of them are being treated in isolation and their condition is stable.

 

Infection-control measures have been bolstered in the ward, and admission to the ward is temporarily closed. All other patients in the ward are under close surveillance and the case has been reported to the Hospital Authority and Centre for Health Protection.
