Lunar New Year a time for family reunions: CE
*
Mr & Mrs Tsang
"Kung hei fat choi": Chief Executive Donald Tsang and his wife Selina wish Hong Kong people a prosperous, harmonious and auspicious Year of the Pig.
*

The Lunar New Year is a time for family reunions, with children, in particular, enjoying the holiday and receiving laisee. This was the message from Chief Executive Donald Tsang, delivering his Lunar New Year message today.

"To get on well with their children, parents should spend more quality time with them to strengthen ties. I recall when my two sons were still young, no matter how busy I was, I would make time to dine with my family, and have a good chat with my children before tucking them into bed," he said.

"While new year cakes and red packets are enjoyable, we treasure more a joyful family reunion in the Spring Festival. As a new year begins, I hope wives and husbands, parents and children alike will stay close together in harmony and happiness."

Mr Tsang wished Hong Kong people a prosperous, harmonious and auspicious Year of the Pig.
