Health chief to attend Macau meeting

Director of Health Dr Lam Ping-yan will lead a delegation to attend the 5th Tripartite Meeting of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Expert Group on the Prevention & Control of Infectious Diseases in Macau on July 13 and 14.

 

Experts will discuss issues relating to the overall strategy in the control of communicable diseases and the co-operation and exchange of medical and public health experts.

 

The delegation includes Centre for Health Protection Controller Dr Leung Pak-yin, Hospital Authority Director (Professional Services & Operations) Dr Cheung Wai-lun and Senior Executive Manager (Professional Services) Dr Beatrice Cheng, Princess Margaret Hospital Consultant Physician (Infectious Diseases) Dr Lai Sik-to, Centre for Health Protection Head of Infection Control Branch Dr Raymond Yung, Head of Public Health Laboratory Services Branch Dr Wilina Lim and Head of Emergency Response & Information Branch Head Helen Tang.
