Kowloon City by-election nominations open
*

The two-week nomination period for the Kowloon City District Council Hung Hom Bay Constituency by-election will run from June 13 to 27. If there is more than one validly nominated candidate, a poll will be held on July 29.

Any registered geographical constituency voter aged 21 or above who has ordinarily lived in Hong Kong for the last three years can be nominated. Nominees must submit nomination forms subscribed by 10 registered voters of the constituency. Each voter is allowed to subscribe to only one nomination.

The nominee must personally hand in their completed form, together with an election deposit of $3,000, to the returning officer within the nomination period. The returning officer's office is at Rooms 1706-1713, One Harbourfront, 18-22 Tak Fung Street, Hung Hom, Kowloon. Nominations are accepted from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, and from 9am to noon Saturdays.

Forms are available at the office of the returning officer and can be downloaded at the Registration & Electoral Office's website. For by-election questions, call 2891 1001.
