$9.5m in aid set for Mainland flood victims
*

Grants of $3.7 million, $3.3 million and $2.5 million from the Disaster Relief Fund have been approved for the Red Cross, the Salvation Army and World Vision to provide emergency aid to flood victims in Guangxi, Guizhou, Hunan and Jiangxi.

To ensure the money is used properly, the committee will ask the organisations to submit evaluation reports and audited accounts after the relief projects are completed.
