Another $2m in aid set for flood victims
*

A $2 million grant from the Disaster Relief Fund will be allocated to the Red Cross to aid flood victims in Guangxi, Hunan and Jiangxi.

This is further to two disbursements last month totalling $3 million for emergency relief to flood victims in Guizhou, Hunan and Jiangxi. It takes the total value of grants for Mainland flood victims to $5 million.

To ensure the money is used properly, the Red Cross must submit an evaluation report and audited accounts after the relief project.
