*

The Electoral Affairs Commission has appointed Senior Counsel Wong Ching-yue and barristers Ho Bing-kwan, Kevin Chan and Lui Kit-ling to the Nominations Advisory Committee. They will advise those planning to run for the Election Committee Subsector Elections on their qualifications for nomination as candidates.

The subsector elections will be held on December 10, and their nomination period will run from November 1 to 8. Prospective candidates can seek the committee's advice on their eligibility before launching their electioneering activities.

The advice is also available to designated bodies of the Religious Subsector that will nominate 40 members to join the Election Committee, and the prospective nominees.
