Forums seek views on constituency boundaries
*

The Electoral Affairs Commission is inviting the public to participate in open forums on the proposed boundaries and names of the District Council Election constituencies, to be held on August 15 and 16.

The commission said both consenting and dissenting views on the provisional boundaries and names of the constituencies are welcome.

The final recommendations, which will take into account representations received during the consultation period, will be submitted to the Chief Executive in November. The consultation on the election constituencies will expire on August 25.

Forums will be held for the constituencies in Hong Kong Island and Kowloon on August 15, and for constituencies in the New Territories East and West on August 16. Click here for details.
