Police appeal to protesters gathering on Lung Wo Road to stay calm and restrained and express their views in a rational and peaceful manner.
Last night, protesters gathering outside the Chief Executive's Office suddenly ran onto the road at the junction of Lung Wo Road and Tim Wa Avenue, causing blockage and severe traffic disruption in the vicinity.
Police condemned such acts which endangered participants' own safety and that of other road users.
Advancing against Police cordon lines - even with arms raised - is not a peaceful act.
Police appeal to protesters not to charge Police cordon lines and return to the nearby pavement as soon as possible.
