The tripartite platform set up by the Government to discuss the way forward for the Medical Council's reform will hold its first meeting on November 15.

Speaking to reporters today, Secretary for Food & Health Dr Ko Wing-man said the Food & Health Bureau has liaised with the six representatives from the Legislative Council, and doctor and patient groups, who form the tripartite body.

They hope to reach a consensus and table the Medical Registration (Amendment) Bill at LegCo early next year, he said.
