The Centre for Health Protection is monitoring 22 Middle East Respiratory Syndrome cases in Saudi Arabia.
The patients include 15 men and seven women aged 23 to 85. Nine of them are in critical condition while the rest are in stable condition.
To date 1,564 cases have been reported to the World Health Organisation, including at least 551 deaths.
Travel agents organising tours to the Middle East are advised not to arrange camel rides and activities involving the animals which may increase the risk of infection.
