The Immigration Department has arrested seven illegal workers and two suspected employers during a citywide crackdown on illegal workers.
Yesterday immigration officers raided 14 locations, including restaurants, an elderly home, retail shops, a commercial-residential unit under renovation/decoration and a flower plantation.
The illegal workers comprised five men and two women, aged 24 to 48. Three were holders of recognisance forms. A man and a woman were suspected to possess forged Hong Kong identity cards.
