Info sought on Tai Po traffic accident

Hong Kong Police

Police are seeking information on a Tai Po traffic accident on March 18 in which an 84-year-old man was struck by a van and later died.

 

At about 1.25pm that day, the van was travelling along Heung Sze Wui Road towards Po Heung Street and reportedly hit the man as the driver turned right onto Po Sheung Street.

 

The man was sent to Prince of Wales Hospital where he was certified dead at 5.22pm on the same day.

 

Anyone who saw the accident or has any information is urged to contact Police at 3661 3860 or 3661 3800.
