2 dead in 2 traffic accidents

Police are investigating two accidents, in Tuen Mun and North Point, in which two men aged 32 and 90 were killed.

 

At about 5.52am, a van travelling along Tsun Wen Road reportedly knocked down the 90-year-old man near Tai Fong Street. He was sent to Tuen Mun Hospital where he was certified dead at 8.57am.

 

Anyone who saw the accident is urged to call Police on 3661 3800.

 

The second accident occurred at about 4.30 pm. A motorcycle travelling westbound on King's Road slammed into a bus near 898 King's Road. The 32-year-old motorcyclist was sent to Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital where he died at 5.35 pm.

 

Anyone who saw the accident is urged to call Police on 3106 8800 or 3106 8848.
