Man dies in Lantau North traffic accident

Police have arrested a 26-year-old man for dangerous driving causing death following an accident in which a 27-year-old man was killed.

 

At about 11.30am, the 26-year-old was driving along North Lantau Highway towards the airport. Near Siu Ho Wan, his car collided with another car stopped on the road and its driver who was standing beside the car.

 

Both men were sent to hospital. The man who was struck by the car died at Princess Margaret Hospital at 12.21pm.

 

Witnesses are urged to call Police on 3661 1300.
