Elderly man dies in Lau Fau Shan blaze

A 76-year-old man has died in a Lau Fau Shan fire.

 

The blaze erupted in a concrete and brick structure used as a godown and staff dormitory in Fung Kong Tsuen at 7am yesterday. Firemen used one jet and two breathing apparatus teams to fight the blaze and extinguished it at 7.22am.

 

The burned man was taken to Tuen Mun Hospital and transferred to Prince of Wales Hospital where he was certified dead at 7.48am today.
