Man dies in Happy Valley car crash

A 46-year-old man has died after apparently losing control of the car he was driving on Wong Nai Chung Gap Road early this morning.

 

Just after midnight, he was travelling towards Wan Chai when the accident happened near 12 Wong Nai Chung Gap Road. He rammed into the central dividing post, rebounded to the left and hit a hillside kerb and traffic sign before coming to a halt.

 

The driver was sent to Ruttonjee Hospital where he was certified dead at 3:19am.

 

Anyone who saw the accident or has information is urged to contact Police on 3106 8800.
