Police seek info after baby's body found

Police are appealing for information after the body of a baby boy was found in Chek Lap Kok.

 

At about 9am on December 25, a man found the baby's body lying on a rock along the shore of Chek Lap Kok South Road and reported it to Police.


Officers found the body wearing a white cloth vest with a star pattern. Measuring 52cm in length, the baby was about a month old. The body had no superficial injuries and had started to decompose.


A post-mortem will be conducted on Monday.


Police are following up, and appeal to members of the public who may have information to offer to contact investigating officers on 2106 7052 or 2106 7061.
