6 charged for Big Wave Bay murder

Police have charged six men aged 32 to 47 for the murder of a 36-year-old man attacked in a gang fight in Big Wave Bay on September 13.

 

They were among the seven men arrested on September 14 and 15 in connection with the case. They will appear in Eastern Magistracy today. The 49-year-old man arrested yesterday is being held for questioning.

 

Besides the 36-year-old, four other men aged 34 to 36 were allegedly attacked by a group of people after a dispute in Tai Long Wan Tsuen, Chai Wan on the night of September 13.

 

The 36-year-old had injuries to his neck from hard objects. He was sent to Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital and died at 12.07am on September 14. A post-mortem will be conducted today.
