Police have arrested nine more people in a forgery case in which rumours were spread about an insurance corporation planning to sell its subsidiary company.

The arrests were made today in the wake of two arrests yesterday.

The nine men and two women, aged 34 to 62, allegedly used a false instrument. All have been detained for questioning.

Secretary for Security Ambrose Lee said Hong Kong will prosecute those who forge letters to disrupt market orders.
