11 arrested for chain store theft

Hong Kong Police

Police have arrested 11 people for stealing goods from chain stores and reselling them to local drug stores at half price.

 

Officers raided locations in Kowloon and New Territories June 24 to 26, including two pharmacies in Mong Kok and Hung Hom, arresting six men and five women aged 27 to 61.

 

They also seized stolen goods, including medicines, cosmetics and milk powder worth about $90,000.
