Beat drugs fund opens for applications
*

Organisations and individuals can now apply to the Beat Drugs Fund Secretariat under the fund's special funding exercise.

The project theme is 'Resource Kit for Parents', and applications are open until June 30.

The aim is to help parents learn about drugs, communicate better with children, notably on drug issues, foster childrens' healthy growth, enhance parents' ability to identify high-risk or drug-taking youths, and make the best use of community support services.

Click here for detailed information. Enquiries can be made at 2867 2737 or 2867 2286, by fax at 2810 1790, or by email.

The fund was set up in 1996 with a $350 million capital base to fund worthwhile projects that can contribute to the fight against drug abuse in Hong Kong.
