Man dies in Yuen Long crash

Hong Kong Police

Police are investigating a Yuen Long traffic accident in which a 78-year-old man died after being hit by a private car.

 

About 1.10pm today, the vehicle which was travelling westbound on Castle Peak Road, reportedly hit the man near the junction with Tai Tong Road.

 

He was taken to Pok Oi Hospital with head and hand injuries and was certified dead at 1.45pm.

 

Anyone who saw the accident or has any information should contact Police at 2675 3325.
