Senior dies in Chai Wan crash

Police are investigating a Chai Wan traffic accident in which a 70-year-old man died and a 55-year-old woman was injured.

 

About 6.55am today, a 45-year-old woman was driving a car that reportedly hit two pedestrians at the junction of A Kung Ngam Road and Chai Wan Road. The pair were taken to Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital where the man was certified dead. The woman was discharged after treatment.

 

Investigations by the Hong Kong Island special investigation team for traffic are underway. People who have information to offer should call 3106 8838 or 8800.
