3 killed, 2 hurt in Ngau Tau Kok crash

Three passengers inside a private car died when it hit a lamp post and caught fire in Ngau Tau Kok this morning. The driver and another passenger were injured.

 

Around 3.50am, the 30-year-old driver was traveling along Kai Fuk Road towards To Kwa Wan.

 

Near the Water Supplies Department building, the car hit a lamp post and caught fire. The and a male passenger were able to escape from the car, but firefighters discovered the bodies of two men and a woman inside. 

 

The two injured men were sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

 

Witnesses or anyone who may have information are urged to call the Kowloon East Traffic Special Investigation Team at 2305 7500 or 2305 7570.
