Woman dies in Cheung Sha Wan accident

A 49-year-old woman was fatally knocked down by a van in Cheung Sha Wan today.

 

About 2.30pm the vehicle was travelling westbound on Wing Hong Street when it struck the woman near the junction with Tsap Fai Street. She sustained serious injuries and was certified dead at Caritas Medical Centre at 2.50pm.

 

The 45-year-old male driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death and released on bail.

 

Witnesses should call Police on 2773 5220.
