Police are seeking information about an accident in Sham Shui Po on March 22 in which an 80-year-old man was hit by a bike and died the next day.

At about 2.25pm, a man was riding a bike down the slope eastbound on Tai Hang Sai Street. At the junction with Tai Hang Tung Road, the bike reportedly  struck the senior man as he was crossing the road. The cyclist fled after the accident.

The senior was sent to Caritas Medical Centre and later transferred to Kwong Wah Hospital. He was certified dead at 11.25pm on March 23.

Anyone who saw the accident or has information to offer should call 2773 5262 or 2773 5220.
