Info sought on escalator death
*
Hong Kong Police

Police are appealing for information on the death of a 26-year-old man who fell from an escalator in a Mong Kok theatre in December.

About 12.30am on December 27, the man was found lying on the sixth floor of a Sai Yeung Choi Street South theatre. He was sent to hospital and died two days later.

It is believed he lost his balance on the escalator on the eighth floor and fell to the sixth floor. His mobile phone fell from his coat and an unknown woman picked it up after the incident and left the scene.

Anyone who saw the incident or who has information on it, especially the woman who picked up the phone, should call Police on 2398 6393.
