2nd national judicial exam held in HK
*

A total of 181 Hong Kong people have applied to take part in the National Judicial Examination held in the city September 16 and 17.

This is the second year examination centres have been erected in Hong Kong. The exam, organised by the National Judicial Examination Centre of the Ministry of Justice, is held simultaneously in different parts of the Mainland.

The Hong Kong exam was held at Delia Memorial School (Yuet Wah) in Kwun Tong and the Islamic Kasim Tuet Memorial College in Chai Wan.

Ministry of Justice and Department of Justice officials toured the exam centres today and were satisfied with the arrangements.

Under the Mainland & Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement, Hong Kong permanent residents with Chinese citizenship are allowed to sit the National Judicial Examination. They will be granted a restricted right to practise on the Mainland after passing the exam.
