Police have arrested a 21-year-old man over the publishing of an online message suggesting the use of explosives to threaten lives and property.
He was arrested in Kowloon Bay last night and two computers were seized. He is being detained for questioning.
Attempting to cause an explosion with intent to endanger life or property is a serious offence liable to up to 20 years jail.
Police advise people to use the Internet wisely and legally, warning that all existing laws prohibiting criminality in the physical world also apply to criminal acts online.
