Police have charged three men, aged 27 to 31, believed to be part of a New Territories drug trafficking syndicate. They will appear in Tsuen Wan Magistrates' Courts on Monday.

Officers launched an intelligence operation last month and identified the mastermind and the principal members of an ecstasy trafficking gang.

Police arrested the three men in Tsuen Wan and Tsing Yi yesterday when a drug deal was about to take place. About 20,000 ecstasy tablets were seized, worth about $1.66 million.
