Ambrose Lee to visit Australia, Singapore
*

Secretary for Security, Ambrose Lee will visit Australia and Singapore this week to discuss the law-and-order situation.

 

In Canberra, he will meet senior officials from the local law-enforcement agencies, including Australian Attorney-General Philip Ruddock, and visit the Australian Federal Police Headquarters.

 

Then he will fly to Sydney and meet the New South Wales Minister for Police Carl Scully and visit the local customs facilities.

 

In Singapore, he will meet Singaporean Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Wong Kan Seng, and Attorney-General Chao Hick Tin.

 

Mr Lee will also inspect the border security facilities at an immigration checkpoint between Singapore and West Malaysia.

 

He will return to Hong Kong on August 16.
