Container truck driver dies in Tsuen Wan crash

A 39-year-old container truck driver has died in a Tsuen Wan traffic accident.

 

At about 10.30am today, the man was driving along Tuen Mun Road towards Kowloon. At Tsuen Wan Road, it reportedly lost control and fell onto a slope near Castle Peak Road Tsuen Wan section.

 

After the impact, the driver was trapped and firefighters rescued him. He was sent to Yan Chai Hospital where he was certified dead at 12.39pm.

 

New Territories South's special traffic investigation team is following up. Anyone who saw the accident should contact investigating officers on 3661 1345 or 1300.
