Husband charged for wife's murder

*
Hong Kong Police

Police have charged a 70-year-old man for murdering his 48-year-old wife in Lek Yuen Estate, Sha Tin. He will appear in Sha Tin Magistracy this afternoon.

At about 9.20am yesterday, Police received a report that a woman had been attacked inside a unit in Luk Chuen House. Officers found the woman with wounds on her neck, lying unconscious inside the flat. Police also located her 70-year-old husband and seized a cutter. The couple reportedly had a dispute before the incident, and their neighbour called Police.

The woman was rushed to Prince of Wales Hospital where she was certified dead. A post-mortem examination is pending. Her husband was also taken to the hospital to have injuries to his left hand treated.
