Tram hits, kills man in Causeway Bay

A 28-year-old man was killed after being hit by a tram in Causeway Bay this morning.

 

At about 9.33am, a 50-year-old woman was driving the westbound tram when it knocked down the man at 120 Causeway Road as he was crossing the street.

 

The victim was sent to Queen Mary Hospital and certified dead at 1.06pm.

 

Anyone who saw the accident should contact Police at 3106 8800 or 3106 8848.
