*
Hong Kong Police

Police are calling for information on a speedboat accident off Kau Yi Chau on March 5, which killed a 60-year-old man and left his 47-year-old colleague missing.

Initial investigations have found they were aboard a speedboat which reportedly collided with an unknown vessel northeast of Kau Yi Chau. The two were thrown into the sea.

The elder man was rescued from the water by Marine Police about 7pm that day, but died before reaching Queen Mary Hospital. The other man has not been found.

Anyone who witnessed the case, or who has information to offer, should contact Marine Police on 2110 5775.
